Go to the Edge LED Light

RenquistDesign adds style to “The Edge” collection of commercial LED lighting.

RACINE, WIS., November 14, 2007
—Working closely with the engineers at Sturtevant based Beta Lighting, RenquistDesign created the distinctive look of Beta’s revolutionary LED collection of commercial lighting. Known as “The Edge” collection, these products utilize light emitting diodes or LEDs which are significantly more efficient than traditional lighting options. Historically, the challenge of using LEDs for general illumination such as parking lots and street lamps has been the weakness of lumens per watt produced. Recent breakthroughs in the technology have made it possible to maximize lumens output while realizing 40-70% energy savings over conventional metal halide lighting. And because LEDs last up to five times longer than metal halide, labor and maintenance costs are reduced as well.

About Beta LED:
Beta LED, a brand of Beta Lighting, was established to dedicate resources to the emerging use of LED for general illumination. Beta Lighting provides the lighting market with high-quality, specification-grade luminaries for both interior and exterior lighting applications. Headquartered in Sturtevant, Wis., Beta Lighting operates a 450,000 square-foot manufacturing facility and is ISO90001:2000 registered.
